Hey there! I'm Marcello, and I'm that guy you'll find at the back of every group ride, savoring every pedal stroke and probably thinking about the post-ride coffee stop.

My cycling journey began 12 years ago with a rusty hybrid bike and a dream to ride 10 miles without stopping. Today, I've pedaled through mountain passes in the Alps, survived (barely) century rides, and collected more stories than Strava segments.

I started Grupetto because I realized that the most interesting cycling stories don't come from the podium—they come from the back of the pack. This is where friendships are forged, where we celebrate small victories, and where the real spirit of cycling lives.

When I'm not writing or riding, you'll find me tinkering with bikes in my garage, planning the next adventure, or convincing my non-cycling friends that yes, lycra is actually comfortable.
